Welcome to the Torq IdeaScale User Forum

In this community you can submit an idea, vote on existing ideas or add your comments.

The developers of Torq and M-Audio DJ products are always interested in your feedback and ideas. However, this space should not be thought of as a means to communicate directly with the Torq development team. The IdeaScale is for users to discuss possible changes, additions, and new features with other Torq and DJ product users. Users posting to this forum should not expect (or request) a developer reply to any of their posts.

If you would like to submit an idea, please click the new idea button. You will be asked to add a title and choose the category your idea belongs to. You also have the option to add a tag to your idea. Tags are another way to identify your idea using key words you feel describe it best. They can help others find your idea when browsing or searching. Tags are displayed in the left navigation area under What we’re discussing.

If you would like to view ideas sorted by the categories, use the links on the left side of the screen under the heading Categories. To return to this page click the All Ideas link.

Software Features

Allow rescan of ID3 tags without losing analysis/quickCUEs

At the moment, if I update my music's tags using an external program (such as iTunes or mp3tag), I have to force analyse my music (or else delete TQDs and clear the database), for the updated tags to be shown in Torq. This means I lose all of my quickCUES/anchors/grid alignments and have to start from scratch with each track. I would like another option to be added to the right click context menus called "Rescan tags", ...more »

Colored Waveforms

Simple idea, but HUGE plus in my opinion. I would love to see the waveforms colored based on the song's frequencies. This is the only feature I am jealous of my friends using Serato and (now) Traktor, for. I know it might slow down computer performance some, but maybe allow for it to be turned on/off?

Software Features

Stand alone GUI Customizer

As above would suggest.

A stand alone GUI Customizer for fully customizing how you use Torq.

Ability to fully customize the GUI in a safe invirontment.

drag and drop things visually, make things be able to fit in any configuration. Possibly have 'pods' or 'cells' (i guess) but be able to move/hide them.

but also be able to have a tick list hide/unhide (traktor style but in one place).
